Barrett Newkirk is a native Hoosier now in a committed relationship with California. He holds degrees from Indiana University and Northwestern University, plus a certificate in Digital Arts and Design from the University of California, Riverside. A former journalist, Barrett now works spreading the word about worthwhile causes and businesses. In his free time, he loves going to the theater, running, and volunteering.
